Yearning For Naivety

Another very autobiographical song. I wrote Yearning For Naivety in the aftermath of me leaving Secret eye. In fact, it's one of the few occasions where I can vividly remember where I was and when I wrote it. After leaving the band I didn't know if I would be gigging again or whether the thing I loved doing most in the world, music, would simply fade away. yearning For Naivety is the result and was written very quickly as the lyrics just poured out of me. It's previously featured on Duchess Edge and is one of the songs I am most proud of. This version features a slightly tweaked introduction and was performed at The Silk Kite in Tamworth.
