Duchess Edge 04:00
Verse 1 She is walking over to you She's got one thing on her mind She just wants to know your name She says she wants to leave with you Verse 2 You can't take your eyes off her. You just want to take her home. You've been blinded by her lies. You're addicted to her smile Chorus But you know you're going to pay Because she's never going to stay When you wake up she won't be there. You try to call but she's not there. Oh, she's not there. Verse 3 She is the duchess of the night. She's on the edge between dark and light. She's got a smile but it's made of ice. And there is evil in her eyes. Chorus x2 But you know you're going to pay Because she's never going to stay When you wake up she won't be there. You try to call but she's not there. Oh, she's not there.

Demon Eyes 02:47
Verse 1 Demon Eyes are calling out to me. Demon Eyes are all that I see. Screwed up perceptions are making my mind bend. Is it you or just another trend Chorus Is there somebody watching from the shadows. Is there somebody lurking in the dark. Who is that watching you from the shadows. Who is that, waiting to make their mark. Verse 2 Demon Eyes are coming to get you. Demon Eyes have seen what you do. They are watching as your smiles fade. They are watching as your tears are made. Chorus x2 Is there somebody watching from the shadows. Is there somebody lurking in the dark. Who is that watching you from the shadows. Who is that, waiting to make their mark.

Lies 02:23
Lies Verse 1 Don't tell me lies, tell me where you were last night. Tell me the truth, because I can see the change in you. And don't you walk away from me with your lies. You're telling lies. Verse 2 Just close the door, because I know what I saw. I saw you and him, tell me where did it begin. And I can't stand you near to me with your lies. You're dirty lies. Verse 3 I've found you out, and now I know what you're all about. And now I know, just pack up your shit and go. Because I don't want you near to me, with your lies. You keep telling lies Those dirty filthy lies And I don't want you near to me, get the hell away from me. And stay the fuck away from me with your lies. You keep telling lies.

Utopiasville 04:27
Verse 1 Relax said the men as he read out my rights Everything you are just vanished into the night. Don't try to fight what you're going to be. You can't escape, you'll never be free. Verse 2 The mayor just got caught with his trousers down. A girl that no one knows was working the town. Her eyes are glazed with the habits she feeds. Sexual slavery gives her the money she needs Chorus This town is a strange place but we call it home. Doesn't sleep like New York as Ancient as Rome. The people who live here are greedy and blind. Utopiasville will blow away your mind. Verse 3 The Christians are warning of brimstone and fire. The woman with no face is calling them all liars. The books are full of lies and I just worked out why. They promise you forever when it's your soul they want to buy. Chorus This town is a strange place but we call it home. Doesn't sleep like New York as Ancient as Rome. The people who live here are greedy and blind. Utopiasville will blow away your mind. Verse 4 Another woman weeps at the grave of her son. Another child's lost their daddy, lost their number one. Nobody was saved, they closed the pearly gates. They promised us a savior, but no it is too late. Chorus x2 This town is a strange place but we call it home. Doesn't sleep like New York as Ancient as Rome. The people who live here are greedy and blind. Utopiasville will blow away your mind.

Chorus Oh Naivety, how I yearn for you again. There's so much to scream about but I know I must refrain. To go back to the start is all I want to do. And I wish I could remember how to talk to you. Verse 1 Time goes by so fast, some one's always left behind. There's a mirror standing against the wall but you don't seem to mind. Noises coming from you keep twisting things around. So I try to walk away from you without ever making a sound. Chorus Oh Naivety, how I yearn for you again. There's so much to scream about but I know I must refrain. To go back to the start is all I want to do. And I wish I could remember how to talk to you. Verse 2 You're saying one thing but I hear another. You like to play the victim, like to play the spurned lover. Everything I hear you say makes irony sound like reason. There's a time to rise and fall but I don't know the season. Chorus Oh Naivety, how I yearn for you again. There's so much to scream about but I know I must refrain. To go back to the start is all I want to do. And I wish I could remember how to talk to you. Bridge Don't tell me the future as I'm living in the past. There's no point in saying tomorrow, tomorrow just won't last. Told try to tell me what the future will hold. I'm warm and safe with who I am, tomorrow's going to be cold Chorus Oh Naivety, how I yearn for you again. There's so much to scream about but I know I must refrain. To go back to the start is all I want to do. And I wish I could remember how to talk to you.

Verse 1 They came so close, and then drifted away Now thirty years have passed, but it feels like yesterday. When he held your hand in the back row of the movies. When she realised how he felt and what the truth is. Now it's too late now, so many years have passed. It's too late now, because Summer doesn't last Chorus They both remember every single day. Secrets shared and letters that you can't throw away. They both remember all the words they shared. What could've been had you had only dared. Verse 2 Now you're both old and grey, and it's cold and outside. And you both no there's no way to the past, and there's no where to hide. And she's thinking back to memories of summer. And he's thinking back, oh why didn't he kiss her. But it's too late now, the past is gone forever. And they missed the chance to be together. Chorus They both remember every single day. Secrets shared and letters that you can't throw away. They both remember all the words they shared. What could've been had you had only dared.

Verse 1 The lights are blinding and the music's loud And yet I can see you standing out from the crowd. I'm drifting towards you my throat going dry. Getting more and more nervous feels like I'm going to die Chorus Will you tell me who you are and if you're on your own Tell me what you're drinking, can I walk you home Smiles and flirting are all good signs, tell me that I'm right Oh I don't know where we'll end up on the Friday night Verse 2 A quieter room and another wine it's three o'clock we've been here since nine We jump in a taxi and stop at your door you ask me inside for coffee and maybe something more Chorus Will you tell me who you are and if you're on your own Tell me what you're drinking, can I walk you home Smiles and flirting are all good signs, tell me that I'm right Oh I don't know where we'll end up on the Friday night Verse 3 Saturday morning one more kiss and I leave I've got your number and lipstick on my sleeve You call me and Wednesday and end up in my bed You're trapped inside my thoughts you're in my head Chorus Will you tell me who you are and if you're on your own Tell me what you're drinking, can I walk you home Smiles and flirting are all good signs, tell me that I'm right Oh I don't know where we'll end up on the Friday night

Verse 1 There's a face at the window, there's a knock at the door. They keep telling that you're coming back, but you're not here and I won't wait anymore. Verse 2 They spoke of light, they talked of darkness. They spoke of hope when there was pain. They said that you would know the difference. But you're not here and it all just stays the same. Chorus And they're all waiting while I walk away. And they're all waiting while I walk away. And they're all waiting while I walk away. And they're all waiting for you.
